A couple of weeks ago my friend who has Parkisons took me to the Parkinson Society venue where you and your friends had a show - as always I especially appreciate your gift for illuminating your subjects. And today Peter and I went to see your (and others’) pieces at the Abkhazi Garden Tea House. "Abkhazi Pond" is stunning - so much so that I tried to find the location of your painting to take an Autumn photo - I’m not sure that I found the exact location but I did get a nice photo of a colorful red Japanese maple in the background and pink and white water lilies in the pond in the foreground.

There is an emotional warmth in all of your paintings, Nirmala - that truly is a gift that goes beyond ease with the techniques of drawing and painting or coloring with pastels … you put your self into your work and that is what makes it special.
